Modernization is now up-speeding, and technology offers great demand for people who prefers an easy way of living. The users could actually be able to download full high-definition movies up to 8 gigabytes in size in less than 20 minutes.
For P2,999 a month, the entry-level plan in the new Torque line offers speed of as fast as 6 mbps, which is already three times faster than the normal digital subscriber line or DSL plans in the market today.
Plans come bundled with a landline connection and a wireless Wi-Fi router.
The 100 mbps plan, which is the fastest available today, costs P14,999 a month. This is still slower than the 112-mbps Internet connections currently offered by cable company SkyBroadband.
“But in March, Globe plans to launch 150-mbps plans, which will cost around P20,000 a month,” Ronquillo said.
