Everyone is expecting this fight. Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley are set to fight on May 7, 2011 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pacquiao will depend his welterweight division at 147 pounds for 12-rounds fight.
Pacquiao (52-3-2, 38 knockouts) has won eight titles in different weight divisions while Mosley (46-6-1, 39 KOs) is a three-division champion.
Mosley is a great fighter before Pacquiao has come to fame. Now Pacquiao is always the subject when it comes to boxing. I don’t think Mosley will have his chance on this greatest fighter of the world.
If Pacquiao meet Mosley at the same age, I can say that the bout is a good match. But take a look at the record of these two great fighters. Pacquiao is unquestionably ahead compared to Mosley.
With 52 wins in favor of Pacquiao and proven his ability in eight titles in different division, surely Mosley will be down before round 12.
Looking back at the fight between Mayweather and Mosley, Mosley cannot sustain the power until the last round. If he still has the power, Mayweather will be knocked out at round 2 during their fight last May 1, 2010.
If Mosley cannot bet Mayweather, the same thing will happen on his fight with Pacquiao.
Manny Pacquiao will beat Mosley just like what he did to Margarito and Dela Hoya. Nobody can beat him.
