The newest Star Cinema movie offering featuring Vilma Santos, Angel Locsin and Xian Lim titled “Everything About Her” is now a certified box office hit as the movie breached the P100-million mark in terms of box office income. The producer of the movie, Star Cinema confirmed the good news through a post on Instagram.
“Everything About Her” movie crossed the P100-million milestone after nine (9) days of showing in various theaters nationwide after its premiere last January 27, 2016.
The movie arm of ABS-CBN, Star Cinema scored another success after the blowout win of the MMFF-entry movie “Beauty and Beastie,” which is now considered as the All-Time Highest Grossing Filipino movie of all time.
Aside from the success of the Vice Ganda movie, Star Cinema was also the producers of box office hit “A Second Chance,” and “The Love Affair.”
In the movie “Everything About Her,” the first tandem of Vilma Santos and Angel Locsin, Santos played the role of a strict and successful CEO who learns that she is suffering from cancer.
The ailing CEO then asks her nurse (Angel Locsin) to convince her son, Albert (Xian Lim), to come home from the United States and live with her once more. The movie is under the direction of award-winning director Bb. Joyce Bernal.
