Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu came under fire on social media when a viral video of an alleged celebrity went viral online and irks netizens because the said celebrity failed to follow the usual queue and did not fall in line during the voter’s registration in Marikina City.
The video which was first posted by the Facebook Page “Kupal Lord” garnered millions of views when netizens reacted negatively to the procedures undertaken by COMELEC officials as one Facebook user complained about the priorities of the government agency during the registration.
The viral video titled “Galing sa Inbox: Kapag Artista, Pwede na Lahat,” features a celebrity who was attended by COMELEC officers while the other people who wants to register was told to fall in line.
Kim Chiu finallly responded to the negative comments thrown at her on social media as she posted a tweet on October 12 denying the allegations that she did not fall in line during the procedures.
The Kapamilya actress airs the following statement on Twitter: “i was there 7:30am po kasi i had a flight after, my RM lined up for me po,close pa mall. nung turn ko na po tsaka ako bumaba…”
Kim Chiu also airs her message to those who bashed her on social media: “dont judge if you dont know the real story.. dont base sa kung anong nakikita ng mata.. know everything first, bago mag kwento.. 👎”
