Here’s our Match Preview Between Azkals and Bahrain:

The Philippines will be facing Bahrain in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers tomorrow, October 13, 2015 at around 10:30 PM in Riffa, Bahrain.

The Bahrainis on the other hand suffered a 0-4 home defeat at the hands of Uzbekistan last Thursday, leaving the nationals stuck with just three points in the double-round robin competition featuring a home-and-away group play.

Right now the Philippines is ranked third with seven points on their group behind North Korea with 10 points while Uzbekistan ranked at the No. 2 spot with nine points.

According to Bahrain coach Sergio Batista, the loss against Uzbekistan put them virtually out of the World Cup Qualification but they still have the Asia Cup Qualifications and they are raring to bounce back from their previous loss against the Filipinos.

Meanwhile, Coach Thomas Dooley and his wards, the entire Azkals team, is now confident they can win against Bahrain after their confidence-building scoreless draw against North Korea in Pyongyang last week.

The Philippine Azkals made a historic win against the powerhouse Bahraini squad during their first encounter in the Group Stage of the FIFA World Cup Qualifying tournaments. The Azkals scored a 2-1 upset against Bahrain at the home court of the Philippines, the Philippine Arena in Bulacan last July.
