Bagyong Ineng (Goni) Storm Signals & Hourly Updates (August 19, 2015)

The country’s weather bureau, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) raised the Public Storm Warning Signal No. 1 over the northern-most provinces of the country as Bagyong Ineng (international name Goni) continued its course toward Luzon.

PAGASA hoisted Signal No.1 in the Batanes Group of Islands and Cagayan, including the Calayan and Babuyan Groups of Islands based on their 11 PM weather bulletin released on Tuesday night.

According to the latest weather bulletin released by PAGASA today, August 19, 2015, Bagyong Ineng maintained its strength with maximum sustained winds of 180 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 215 kph. It was still moving west at 25 kph.

Bagyong Ineng is expected to be at 530 km East of Calayan Cagayan by tomorrow morning and 245 km East Northeast of Calayan, Cagayan on Friday morning.

By Saturdany morning Bagyong Ineng is expected to be at 60 km North of Basco Batanes and 300 km North Northwest of Basco Batanes by Sunday morning. Bagyong Ineng is expected to outside PAR on Monday morning, August 24, 2015.
