Kapamilya young actor Jairus Aquino will portray the role of a young track-and-field athlete as he inspires Filipino TV viewers to fight for their dream in the highly anticipated August 15 episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK). Jairus shares the life story of a student-athlete diagnosed with Tuberculosis of the bone.
Despite the difficulty especially in walking Jairus who portrays the role of Efren as he tried to overcome his sickness and continued to pursue his dream of becoming part of his school’s track-and-field program.
The Saturday’s episode of the country’s longest-running drama anthology on Philippine TV will showcase how Efren face the challenge of his life which he considered as his biggest race.
He will share to us, where did he get the strength to face his fears and doubts. Aside from Jairus Aquino, the MMK episode tonight, August 15, 2015 will also feature Emilio Garcia, Assunta de Rossi, Manuel Chua, John Bermundo, Joaquin Reyes, and Kyle Banzon.
The episode is directed by Garry Fernando and written by Mark Duane Angos. Don’t forget to watch “MMK,” every Saturday, 8pm, after “The Voice Kids” on ABS-CBN.
