Former PBB Big Winner Melai Cantiveros will portray the role as a domestic helper in Kuwait for the Saturday’s edition of the country’s top-rating and longest-running drama anthology, “Maalaala Mo Kaya.” Melai Cantiveros now returns to acting and will try to portray in a heavy drama.
The 27-year-old Melai Cantiveros who recently won the first-ever title as “Your Face Sounds Familiar” winner portrayed the role of Joanna a Filipino domestic helper in Kuwait.
Melai Cantiveros showcase her acting skills as she builds a close relationship with the children she looks after but at the same time she is longing for her own daughters.
Aside from Melai Cantiveros, also featured in the June 20 episode of MMK is Melai’s husband and real-life partner Jason Francisco. Joining the cast of the highly anticipated MMK episode are Sharmaine Suarez, Mutya Orquia, Brenna Garcia, Sofia Millares, Althea Guanzon, Jet Alcantara, Ruby Rubi, and Chiqui del Carmen.
The June 20 MMK episode is directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar, and will air at around 8:30 PM on Saturday night.
