The 50-year-old Kenny Bayless was picked by the Nevada Commissioners on the day that Floyd Mayweather got his license to fight the Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao.

Although the referee of boxing’s richest bout ever was already announced by Las Vegas boxing commissioners, the promised public sale of the official tickets for the boxing match is still unclear and there’s no announcement yet from the organizers of the bout.

Top Rank head honcho and promoter Bob Arum charged that tickets are being held up because the MGM and Mayweather’s camp are trying to get both more tickets and better seats from the allotment given to the Pacquiao camp.

The MGM did not release an official statement yet with the availability of the tickets, which orignally were supposed to go on sale sale weeks ago.

Aside from the announcement of Kenny Bayless as the third man on the ring, the Nevada Athletic Commission also approved Dave Moretti, Glenn Feldman and Burt Clements as the official judges of the Mayweather vs. Pacquao mega bout this coming May 2, (May 3, Manila Time), 2015.

Referee Kenny Bayles already worked with Floyd Mayweather Jr., in a total of five fights while he was in charged of the ring during Pacquiao’s seven bouts. He is also considered as the best referee in Nevada today.
