Gerald Anderson Shared “Haunting” Experience During Movie Shooting

Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson shared his “haunting” experience while shooting a scene for the romance-suspense movie “Halik sa Hangin” which also features young actress Julia Montes. The shooting of the newest movie by Gerald Anderson and Julia Montes was held in a 1930s abandoned American house.

According to the 25-year-old Gerald Anderson one of the doors just opened on its own in one of its scenes with Julia Montes at the rumored haunted house as Gerald recalled his eerie experience.

Gerald Anderson was quoted as saying “Ang galing ng timing kasi akala ko effects. Biglang bumukas. Hinawakan ko si Julia, nasa gitna kami ng take, medyo [na-bother kami] pero tinuloy pa din namin yung eksena. After ng cut, nagsigawan kaming lahat, ‘Ano yun?’” he said.

Although the experience was quite haunting, the director of the movie, Director Manny Palo decided to include the scene in the movie. The director was quoted as saying “In this scene, the cameras were already rolling tapos there was one door na ang hirap hirap buksan, kailangang itulak siya. Tapos tamang tama, on cue, bumukas siya mag-isa. Ginamit na namin sa movie talaga yung eksena. Hindi na namin inulit,” he said.

The director also revealed that aside from shooting at the abandoned American house, they also shot scenes at the supposedly haunted Diplomat Hotel in Baguio City.

Star Cinema already released the two-minute trailer of “Halik sa Hangin” which tells the love story where Mia (Julia Montes) will get involved with Gio (Gerald Anderson) and Alvin (JC de Vera). The movie also stars Edu Manzano, Ina Raymundo and Jasmine Curtis-Smith.
