Fans and followers of Kapamilya couple Kim Chiu and Xian Lian will have to look forward to as ABS-CBN confirmed reports that the hottest love team KimXi will be featured in an unnamed 2015 television project. Kim Chiu and Xian Lim have been working for the past few years both on TV and in various movie projects.
According to the official statement of ABS-CBN, the Kapamilya Network confirmed that a TV project is in the works for the rumored couple. The Kapamilya channel also noted that Xian Lim will now depart from the TV series “Bridges of Love.”
Here’s the Official Statement from the Kapamilya Channel:
“Due to public clamor, ABS-CBN, through the Star Creatives business unit, is bringing back the love team of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim in a primetime teleserye to be launched this year,” the statement read.
“Because of this development, Xian will not pursue the teleserye ‘Bridges of Love’ with Maja Salvador and Jericho Rosales. The role of Carlos Antonio in the said series will now be played by Paulo Avelino,” it added.
Meanwhile the role of Xian Lim, who portrayed the role of Carlos Antonio will be replaced by fellow Kapamilya actor JC de Vera.
Kim Chiu also noted during an earlier interview aired on Kris TV that she will have an upcoming primetime project for ABS-CBN and noted that the story is based on a Wattpad story, and the taping will start this month of Januar 2015.
