Kabayan Noli De Castro Joined the Feast of Black Nazarene “Traslacion”

Kapamilya Channel’s veteran broadcast journalist and the former Vice President, Noli De Castro joined the “Feast of the Black Nazarene” in Manila on Friday, January 9, 2015. Kabayan Noli De Castro is considered as one of the most prominent personalities who regularly attended the yearly celebration of the Black Nazarene.

The 65-year-old Noli De Castro took a break from his radio show to join the annual fiesta of the Black Nazarene. Fellow ABS-CBN correspondent Anthony Taberna posted a photo on his Instagram account showing Noli De Castro joining the crowd at the Quirino Grandstand where the traditional “traslacion” started.

Kabayan Noli De Castro took a leave from his daily radio show on DZMM, rain or shine, the veteran journalist will continue to join the Feast of the Black Nazarene.

For more than 30 years, Kabayan Noli De Castro is a devoted pilgrim of the Black Nazarene. In an earlier interview with ABS-CBN, Noli de Castro noted that for the past few years, the number of devotees got bigger and bigger despite the hardships endured by thousands if not millions of pilgrims attending the procession.

Noli de Castro also made headlines earlier after some netizens slammed him, with his alleged arrogant or rude conversation with TV reporter Winnie Cordero during a report on TV Patrol.
