Kapamilya actor and singer Marlo Mortel said that he is happy to be paired again with young actress Janella Salvador in the upcoming series “Oh My G” after the top-rating and now defunct series “Be Careful With My Heart.”
In an interview with Pep.ph, the former “X Factor Philippines” contestant said that he is glad to work again with Janella Salvador although he also felt pressured doing the series portraying the lead role.
“Nakakakaba kasi dalawa kaming bida dito ni Janella, first time na binigyan kami ganito kalaking show. “Kaya nakaka-pressure kasi hindi namin alam kung ano ang magiging resulta nito. Kumbaga, parang sugal sa aming dalawa ang show na ito,” he said.
While Marlo Mortel admitted that he has a crush on Janella Salvador, he clarified that their priority is their work. He added that he wanted to make the most out of the opportunities being offered to him.
“Pero hangang crush lang muna. Kasi pareho naming priority ang trabaho. Mas magandang atupagin muna namin ang career namin, ‘tsaka na lang ang lovelife,” he said.
The 22-year-old actor wishes that their upcoming series is will become successful and more opportunities will come to him and to Janella Salvador this year.
“O My G” which also stars the former “Pinoy Big Brother: All In” housemate Manolo Pedrosa, is set to air sometime this year on ABS-CBN. Further details about the soap was not yet revealed.
