The former “Star Circle Quest” contestant, Melissa Ricks, who is now pregnant with her first baby with non-showbiz boyfriend Charles Togesaki, happily shared that she is expecting a baby girl.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News’ Gretchen Fullido, the Kapamilya actress said that she is very excited and the same time she felt nervous because she will be giving birth to her first child in the late December.
“Excited ako pero super kinakabahan kasi hindi naman biro na manganganak ako. Praying na normal. Sabi ng doctor okay naman, wala namang balak mag-CS. Sana normal para hindi scary,” she said.
She was even more excited because she is expecting a baby girl. “We are very happy because we wanted a girl. Meron kaming naisip na names pero hindi pa sure. Gusto namin ng name na walang nickname. Nag-iisip pa,” she added.
On Sunday November 24, 2014, Melissa Ricks and her partner Charles Togesaki held a baby shower. The 24-year-old star said that she was overwhelmed when a lot of people attended the party to support them.
Meanwhile, Melissa Ricks assured her supporters that she will back in the showbiz industry as soon as she has already settled everything. She just hope that she will be given a chance to return again.
Melissa Ricks was last seen in Ipaglaban Mo’s episode “Ang Pangako Mo Sa Akin.” Her last regular project was the hit and now defunct primetime series “Honesto,” which was headlined by Raikko Mateo and Paulo Avelino.
