Former Kapuso actress Jennica Garcia will make an acting debut with ABS-CBN as she will portray the role as a daughter of a deceased priest in an episode of the drama anthology “Ipaglaban Mo” this coming Saturday, November 22, 2014. Jennica Garcia will co-star alongside Mylene Dizon and John Medina.

The daughter of veteran actress Jean Garcia made some earlier appearance on ABS-CBN during her guesting with the hit comedy show, Banana Split. Some of the projects line up for Jennica Garcia as a Kapamilya series is her upcoming TV series Pangako Sa ‘Yo as one of the few announced stars in the remake featuring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
The 24-year-old Jennica Garcai will portray the role of Ana, the daughter of Fr. Romy Medina who declared before he passed away that Ana is the only heir of his property through his last will and testament.
The relatives of Fr. Romy, however, claimed his property, insisting that Ana was illegitimate daughter so she had no rights to the properties of Fr. Romy. Jennica Garcia who portrayed the role of Ana pursued a legal battle, although her mother refused to support because of the fear of being criticized for having an affair with a priest.
The “Ipaglaban Mo” episode featuring Jennica Garcia is directed by Raymund Ocampo, it will also feature Lui Villaruz, Fifth Solomon, Mike Lloren, Apollo Abraham, and Chiqui Del Carmen. The TV program is hosted by Atty. Jose Sison and Jopet Sison, airs every Saturday after “It’s Showtime.”
