The kapamilya actress Erich Gonzales admitted that she still feels uncomfortable doing love scenes in the newest ABS-CBN adaptation of Korean TV series “Two Wives” although she has already done it on her past projects.
In an interview with Push, the former “Katorse” star said that there is an awkward feeling when she is doing an intimate scene with her on-screen partner Jason Abalos but she just trust her director and on-screen partner.
“Siyempre nakakailang din. Hindi mo naman boyfriend o partner yung ka-eksena mo ‘di ba pero siyempre ibibigay mo yung trust mo sa direktor mo, sa ka-eksena mo na hindi ka naman babastusin o lalabas na bastos, tiwala lang po,” she said.
In the series, Erich Gonzales plays the role of Janine who attracted Victor (Jason Abalos) that led to the destruction of latter’s family. “Two Wives” also stars Kaye Abad as Yvonne, the first wife of Victor.
Erich Gonzales also said that she accepted the role of antagonist because it would be a challenge to her, noting that this was the first time she plays the role of a “kontrabida”.
“Siguro isa yun sa mga dahilan kung bakit ko ito tinanggap. Isa siyang challenge for me kasi yun nga po first time ko din na gumawa ng ganitong klaseng role,” she said.
“Two Wives” airs from Monday to Friday after “Ikaw Lamang” on Kapmilya Primetime Bida Block.
