The kapuso actress Carla Abellana clarifies her relationship with her on-screen partner Tom Rodriguez. She insisted that they are not yet a couple and they are still in the courting stage.
Carla Abellana was made to explain the real score between them after she posted a photo of her “My Destiny” co-star in the image-sharing site Instagram and called him as her “partner.”

In the photo, the 28-year-old star wrote: “Always remember that i am your partner and your friend before anything else so i’ll be by your side no matter what. Happy birthday, tommy! You are so loved.”
In an interview with PEP, Carla Abellana said that she called Tom Rodriguez as her “partner” because they are partners in work, adding that they are always helping each other.
“Partners, kasi partners kami sa trabaho. Yun ang ibig ko sabihin. Kapag may mabigat kaming eksena, kapag nahihirapan kami sa eksena, nagtutulungan kami. He often asks me, ‘How can I help you?’ Or siya tatanungin ko, ‘Puwede ba magpatulong?’ Ganun kami lagi. We try to cheer each other up,” she said.
Carla Abellana also shared that she is happy that Tom Rodriguez is exerting effort to court her. Last week, she posted a photo of her and a bouquet of flowers given by Tom Rodriguez in her Instagram account.
Meanwhile, the rumored couple are currently busy shooting of the series “My Destiny” which airs in GMA’s Primetime Block.
