Suspension of Classes September 20, 2014 Due to Bagyong Mario Floods (Walang Pasok)

Local Government Units (LGU’s) and various educational institutions in Metro Manila and nearby provinces have already announced that the classes will remain suspended on Saturday, September 20, 2014, due to the inclement weather brought about by Bagyong Mario and the southwest monsoon or more popularly as Habagat.

According to weather bureau, PAGASA, the monsoon rains and Tropical Storm “Mario” have caused severe flooding in Luzon areas including the country’s metropolitan capital, Metro Manila.

PAGASA also noted that the Bagyong Mario has slightly weakened, now packing a maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph based upon the 5:00 PM PAGASA bulletin.
