Roman Abramovich: Owner of The World’s Most Expensive Superyacht

Russian businessman Roman Abramovich is the owner of the world’s most expensive superyacht, Eclipse which is estimated to cost at $1 billion according to net worth review body Wealth-X.

Eclipse measures for about  536-foot-long. The most expensive superyacht in the world was launched in 2010. It has two helicopter pads, two swimming pools, 24 guest cabins and a disco/entertainment hall. Eclipse is also dubbed as the second longest yacht in the world.Roman Abramovich, 47, is known as a superyacht enthusiast.

The Russian politician and investor is the main owner of private investment company Millhouse LLC and Chelsea Football Club, an English Premiere League Football team.

According to Forbes, Roman Abramovich is the 137th wealthiest man in the world. He has an estimated $9.5 billion net worth. He is the 14th richest in Russia.

Meanwhile, Azzam, the world’s longest yacht is owned by United Arab Emirates president and Abu Dhabi ruler Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The 590-foot-long superyacht costs at around $600 million

Landing as the third longest yacht is the Topaz. owned by another member of the Abu Dhabi royal family with no less than  Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The 482-foot-long yacht cost at  $520 million.

Andrewy Melnichenko and Yuri Scheffler, Russian billionaires are among the owners of the fourth and fifth longest yachts in the world. Melnichenko’s A is said to have cost at $390 million  while Scheffler’s Serene stands at $330 million.

  1. Have you ever dreamed about yacht like that? I just wonder what kind of person you should be, to own the three largest and most luxury yachts of the world at total worth of over 1.5 billion USD. That is really amazing and Pelorus and Eclipse are so beautiful and so luxury, that we have never seen something like that ever.
