The popular love team of James Reid and Nadine Lustre, whose tandem was dubbed by their fans as “JaDine”, will star in the upcoming ABS-CBN TV series entitled “My App Boyfie”.
“My App Boyfie” is a series written by Noreen Capili which was first published on the online writing community Wattpad. It as about an app that allows its users to make their own ideal boyfriend.
The show will be produced by Dreamscape Entertainment Television under the direction of Jojo Saguin, the director of “Mira Bella” and “Muling Buksan Ang Puso”. The series will also star Dominic Roque.
The upcoming series marks the first time that the teen stars will be working together in a Television series.
“My App Boyfie” is the third Wattpad-based project of the newest kapamilya love team. James Reid and Nadine Lustre already starred in the box-office movies”Diary ng Panget” and “Talk Back And You’re Dead” which was adapted from Wattpad novels.
James Reid and Nadine Lustre signed a contract with ABS-CBN in August following the success of their films. Both were from the Viva Artists Agency.

On Thursday, Star Cinema, the co-producer of “Talk Back And You’re Dead” announced that the sequel of the movie is in the works. Nadine Luster, James Reid and Joseph Marco will reprise their respective roles.
