The kapamilya teen actor Daniel Padilla reacted on the rivalry between his love team with Kathryn Bernardo, whose tandem was dubbed as “KathNiel”, and James Reid and Nadine Lustre also known as “JaDine”.

In an interview with entertainment press, the “She’s Dating the Gangtser” star insisted that he and his on-screen partner Kathryn Bernardo are not competing with the “Talk Back and You’re Dead” stars, saying that they are just enjoying their work.
“Sa amin ni Kathryn, walang kumpitensiya. Kumbaga, wala tayong kalaban. Kami naman ay nagtatrabaho lang kaya enjoy lang kami. Huwag tayong maglaban-laban dito,” he said.
The love team of James Reid and Nadine Lustre were being compared to Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla since their movies are becoming a box-office hit also.
Daniel Padilla reminded the fans of KathNiel that they should not start a fight with the fans of other love teams and they should not take their comments seriously.
“Hindi kailangang mag-away. Siyempre, nagsisimula naman ‘yan sa may nagsalita ‘tapos pinapatulan. Huwag na lang patulan kapag may nagsalita dahil hindi naman kailangan ‘yon. Hindi naman kailangan ng ganun.” he added.
James Reid and Nadine Lustre denied also in their previous interviews that they are competing with the famous teen stars, saying that they are different love team from them.
Now that the two love teams are working on the same network, James Reid believes that the rift between their fans will soon end.
