The kapamilya award-winning actress Kim Chiu revealed her dream project in showbiz industry during her recent interview with ABS-CBN News’ entertainment press.
The “Ikaw Lamang” actress said that has done comedy, drama and romance so she wants something new. She said that she wants to star in a fantasy project, either on film or in television.
“Yun ang isa sa mga bagay na nilo-look forward ko kasi more on drama, more on iyakan, nag-comedy ako, bago lang. So gusto ko naman i-explore ang mundo ng fantasy,” she said.
Kim Chiu said in her past interviews that she wants to portray the role of the iconic mermaid “Dyesebel”. However, she was not confident in doing it since she thinks that it would not fit her.
The “Dyesebel” role was given to the actress-host Anne Curtis which recently ended in Primetime.
The 24-year-old actress said also that time that she can’t accept the consequences especially on wearing a revealing outfit. She also noted that she might get bashed if she will the mermaid role.
Kim Chiu, meanwhile, recently renewed her contract with the kapamilya network. She is happy that she is still working on ABS-CBN, where she started her career in the show business.
Kim Chiu came to prominence after winning the popular reality TV series “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition” in 2006. After winning, she became a part of ABS-CBN’s homegrown talents Star Magic and was given numerous TV and film projects.
