INC’s Philippine Arena World’s Largest Indoor Arena Opens Today (Video)

The Iglesia Ni Cristo’s Philippine Arena opens today, July 21, 2014, as the inauguration of the world’s largest covered dome took place. The inauguration of the Philippine Arena is just the start of the week-long celebration of INC’s 100th Year or Centennial Anniversary of the country’s most popular local-born religion.

The Philippine Arena is located in the 130 hectares Ciudad de Victoria Complex on a vast piece of Bocaue, Bulacan. The indoor arena with an estimated 55,000 spectators capacity will be commissioned by INC under the leadership of INC Executive Minister Eduardo V. Manalo. The Philippine President, Pres. Aquino will also attend the historical inauguration of the Philippine Arena.

Aside from the Philippine Arena, other major structures of INC’s Ciudad de Victoria (City of Victory) which is expected to be completed soon includes the Philippine Stadium, the Philippine Sports Center, the Eraño G. Manalo Medical Center, the New Era Sports Academy, as well as various shops, hotels, and leisure parks.

The construction of the Philippine Arena began on August 17, 2011 and ended last May 30, 2014. The Philippine Arena has four levels, on Level 1, the parking area, offices and stage. On Level 2, the main entrance from the great stairs and lower bowl seats is located. The VIP rooms are on Level 3, while the general patronage area is found on Level 4 of the Philippine Arena.

The Philippine government already issued the declaration of special non-working holiday this coming Sunday, July 27, 2014. Malacanang noted that July 27, 2014 is a special non-working holiday as part of INC’s Centennial Celebration.
