Mary Ann Van Der Horst performed the song popularized by Beyonce titled Halo. The Filipina singer received a standing ovation from The X Factor Australia judges.
The 28-year-old Maryn Ann Van Der Horst admitted before her performance that she was married to a younger husband who is just 22 years old. She also noted that her husband got annoyed whenever she sings.

The performance video of Mary Ann Van Der Horst with her rendition of the song “Halo,” already garnered more than 200,000 views on YouTube and shared thousands of times on Facebook.
Right after the performance of Mary Ann Van Der Horst, X Factor Australia judge Redfoo stated that her performance was “spectacular,” Coach Danii on her part said that “it was brilliant” and she really loved the way Mary Ann performed.
The most popular judge of X Factor Australia, Ronan Keating noted that he thought “Mary Ann is not serious and cannot sing but he was wrong.” Ronan Keating added further that “You owned the song and that was incedible to watch.” Keating stated.
Mary Ann Van Der Horst received a total of four yeses and an unusual standing ovation from the judges. She will then move on to the next round of the competition, the boot camp.
Mary Ann Van Der Horst also fulfilled one of her dreams to kiss Ronan Keating after her performance. The aged care worker from Victory, Mary Ann, noted earlier that one of her goal in joining the contest is to kiss Ronan Keating, the favorite celebrity judges of the people in her workplace.
