Star Cinema to Produce Janella Salvador’s First Movie

The country’s leading film company Star Cinema will produce the first movie of one of the sought-after teen stars today Janella Salvador after she recently signed a two-year contract with Star Cinema.

The ABS-CBN film productions revealed that the “Be Careful with My Heart” actress will star in one of the pop novels that acquired from Summit Books this year but there is no final decision yet if who is going to be paired with him.

Janella Salvador told the ABS-CBN News she is excited for her first big screen project. “Sabi nga po nila sa akin ay isa doon ay gagawin ko sa excited na ako doon,” she said.

Janella Salvador is the daughter of the singer-songwriter Juan Miguel Salvador and actress-singer Jenine Desiderio. She rose to fame after she appeared in the hit daytime series “Be Careful with My Heart”, top-billed by Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap, as “Nikki”.

Due to her successful career as a young star, she received several awards including Most Promising Female Star of the Year on 2014 at 45th GMMSF Box-Office Entertainment Awards and Best New Female TV Personality on 2013 at 27th PMPC Star Awards for Television.

Aside from the 16-year-old star, her Star Magic co-artist Liza Soberano signed also a multi-picture contract with Star Cinema. She will star in the film adaptation of the popular book published by Summit “The Bet” with Enrique Gil.

“The Bet” will mark the second big screen team up of Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano who co-starred in the romantic film “She’s the One”.
