Giedie Laroco impressed all the three coaches of “The Voice Kids PH” during her audition on Sunday night, June 8, 2014 singing the song popularized by Laura Branigan titled Power of Love.

The 13-year-old aspiring singer from Dagupan City made an awesome rendition of the song “effortlessly” according to the three judges of the show. Coach Sarah was so impressed with the way Giedie Laroco belted out the popular song, which according to the singer it requires power of lungs but the kid kept it calm.
Coach Bamboo tried his best to convince the young aspiring singer to be with his team and told Giedie Laroco that her rendition “was effortless.” The song “Power of Love” was also the song chosen by the previous winner of the competition, Mitoy Yonting, who took home the title as the first-ever “The Voice Philippines” grand winner.
Coach Lea, the luckiest among the three coaches, found Laroco’s voice as “perfect,” and she was chosen by the singer who has been singing for a band back in Dagupan to sustain her studies.
According to Giedie Laroco who chose to join Team, she believes that the international singer and Tony-award performing actress will help her improve her skills in singing. The newest recruit of Team Lea also noted after her blind audition performance that she dreamed of having her own house, that’s the main reason why she joined the competition.
