Kapuso actor Edgar Allan De Guzman denied the rumors surrounding him and his girlfriend model-actress Shaira Mae Dela Cruz, in prioritizing her rather than his career.
To address the rumors and speculations existing between the couple Edgar Allan De Guzman and Shaira Mae Dela Cruz, the actor said in an interview with Philippine Portal Entertainment Pep.ph “Ako po, kung lovelife ko ang priority ko, wala po ako dito ngayon. Hindi ko po sinusunod ang mga trabahong ibinibigay sa akin. Nag-a-addict ako, kung yun po ang priority ko.”
Rumors surrounding the couple started to leak on social media sites over the actor’s showbiz career, when 24-year-old Edgar Allan De Guzman posts sweet messages and pictures on his Instagram account to 19-year-old girlfriend Shaira Mae Dela Cruz.
In this regard, speculations for Edgar Allan De Guzman also begun regarding with his career performance, which based on some netizens weakened because of his lovelife.
As part of the rumors circulated online for Edgar Allan De Guzman’s showbiz career, his girlfriend Shaira Mae Dela Cruz is the main reason why he declined some of his projects and if there’s a taping on his indie film he is sometimes late nor absent in the set.
On the other hand, to clarify the said rumors between his projects and Shaira Mae Dela Cruz, the actor emphasized that there’s no truth behind it and he also unveiled that his career weakened because there’s no project given yet.
