After the mauling incident happened to 37-year-old comedian-actor Vhong Navarro in Forbeswood Condominium, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City last January 22, 2014, the allege masterminds behind it who got involved with the said issue currently makes a trend in social media sites, including Deniece Cornejo, Cedric Lee and his business partners.
In regard with this, 22-year-old model-actress Deniece Cornejo is now under fire with controversies after she filed a case to Vhong Navarro and the actor also filed a multiple charges against Cedric Lee and Deneice Cornejo’s camp.
Meanwhile, as Deniece Cornejo faced such controversies, the Philippine Daily Inquirer cleared out the speculations as it was published on Tuesday February 18, 2014 that she became an escort to a Malaysian Greg Binunus who used to rent Cornejo’s condominium unit in Taguig City where the mauling incident happened, as he said on his affidavit submitted to the National Bureau of Investigation that he met the actress in a bar.
To clarify the escort issue, Deniece Cornejo who runs an online fashion store break her silence saying, “I met Mr. Greg through a girl who purchased goods from me. She happened to work at a piano bar. She gave Mr. Greg my number, hoping that he would purchase goods from me in order for her to get a commission,” and as she was looking a condo unit near Makati area she added on her statement, “During my meeting with Mr. Greg, he also discussed his other projects. He mentioned that he was opening a Southeast Asian restaurant … in the Fort and asked me to be an endorser and [to also] help him [in] branding and management since I am a hospitality management student.”
However, Greg Binunus immediately left the condo unit due to a robbing incident to where Deneice Cornejo stayed.
