Kapamilya teen star Janella Salvador was awarded with the PMPC Star Awards for TV 2013 as Best New Female TV Personality of the Year. She received the award last night during the Star Awards held at the AFP Theater.

The 15-year-old Janella Salvador was chosen among some of the best new female actress such as fellow Kapamilya stars; Aaliyah Belmoro, Ashley Sarmiento, Liza Soberano, GMA’s Giana Revilla and Thea Tolentino; and TV5’s Sophie Albert.
The “Be Careful With My Heart” teen star Janella Salvador reaches another new milestone on her budding career as one of the newest female TV celebrity. Janella was also awarded previously with the German Moreno Youth Achievement Award given by Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS).
Janella Salvador played the role of Sir Chief’s (Richard Yap) daughter in the top-rating morning kilig-serye, “Be Careful With My Heart” also featuring Jodi Sta. Maria. Salvador is the daughter of actress-singer Jenine Desiderio and singer Juan Miguel Salvador. She’s under ABS-CBN’s talent management Star Magic Batch 2013.
Top winners from the yearly PMPC Star Awards for TV came mostly from the top two most popular networks in the Philippines, ABS-CBN Channel 2 and GMA Network’s Channel 7.
