Former Bb. Pilipinas 2013 candidate and reigning Miss Tourism World Philippines 2013 Miss Aiyana Mikiewicz will represent the country in the upcoming Miss Tourism World beauty pageant to be held in Equatorial Guinea.

The coronation night will be held this coming October 12, 2013 at Sipopo Conference Centre, Malabo Equitorial Guinea. A total of 55 contestants from various countries and territories worldwide participate in Miss Tourism World 2013.
According to the Philippines handler in Miss Tourism World, Gareth Blanco, Miss Philippines Aiyana Mikiewicz is one of the top 3 favorites in the competition. The 23-year-old Aiyana Mikiewicz was also invited by the Miss Tourism World President to speak to, after one of the rehearsals. The event organizers were impressed with Aiyana’s signature “Python Walk.”
Aiyana Mikiewicz is a graduating BS Psychology student from the University of St. Louis in Baguio City. She is part-Polish, part-Ukrainian, and part Filipino. The Miss Tourism Philippines 2013 title-holder participated in the Bb. Pilipinas 2013 but she failed to make it to the finals. She is candidate no. 47 in the Golden Anniversary of Binibining Pilipinas.
During her Binibining Pilipinas participation she revealed the her beauty queen idol is the former Miss Universe title-holder Dayanara Torres of Puerto Rico. Right now in the Miss Tourism World 2013, she is competing against the representative from Puerto Rico, one of the heavy favorites to win in the beauty pageant she is participating.
With the recent success of the Philippines in major beauty pageants, she is now dubbed as one of the title favorites in the Miss Tourism World 2013 currently held in Equitorial Guinea.
