Megan Young made history for the Philippines as she was declared as the first-ever winner of the Miss World Title yesterday night in a competition held in Bali, Indonesia. Aside from making history for the country, Megan completed an elite record for the Philippines worldwide, the only country that wins all major beauty title.
The success of the 23-year-old Megan Young, as the winner in Miss World 2013, completed the elite record for beauty pageant title. Philippines is now the only country that won at least one crown each from the world’s five largest and recognized beauty pageants.

ai philippines ang first, sa top 5 beauty pageants (miss universe, miss world, miss international, miss earth at miss supranational) ang venezuela at brazil yung apat lang, wala pa silang ms. supra title ang india naman wala pang miss earth at miss supra kaya po ang PHILIPPINES ay first country to complete the title from those five big beauty pageant … CLARO?
Actually already won 1 Miss Earth crown back in 2010 where we did not place in Vietnam. The only crown that is missing for them to complete the Big 4 is Miss International which they underestimate most of the time due to its distinctive simple setup which for some pageant fans think that is cheap. Wala din po silang Miss Supra and if it’ll be official that Miss Supra will round up the Big 5, then it’ll make us the only country worldwide to complete all of these titles. So far, only Big 4 lang yun honored by most pageant fansites worldwide. 🙂
