TV5 hunk actor Derek Ramsay will be featured in an edgy drama with ABS-CBN actress Cristine Reyes and Kapuso star Heart Evangelista in an upcoming movie.
The announcement was revealed during TV5’s press conference for the action-serye “Undercover” on Thursday, July 11, at Anabel’s Restaurant in Timog, Quezon City, Derek revealed that he is about to star in a movie to be produced by Viva Films.
The movie is still untitled but it will surely feature the hunk Kapatid actor working with two actresses from rival network, the GMA-7 and ABS-CBN Channel 2. The 28-year-old Derek Ramsay expressed his excitement for the movie after reading the scrip that he was able to read only in 20 minutes.
Derek Ramsay was quoted as saying that, “It’s a drama with some pyschological elements. It’s something, kung nangyari talaga ito sa totoong buhay grabe. Sobrang ganda ng story and I can’t wait to start,” he said.
The project, which is set to begin filming next month, will also star John Estrada. It’s scheduled to open in theaters before December.
