A Cebu Pacific plane ran over at least five edge lights at NAIA Terminal 3 on Thursday afternoon. According to NAIA general manager Jose Honrado, the plane from Iloilo may have skidded upon landing due to heavy rains.
The Cebu Pacific flight 5J448 safely landed from Iloilo and all the 95 p(–foul word(s) removed–)engers on board the plane were safe. Although all the p(–foul word(s) removed–)engers and the plane safely landed and proceeded to NAIA Terminal 3, five runway lights were damaged during the incident.
The incident at NAIA Airport is the second incident involving the Philippines largest low-cost airline, Cebu Pacific, after the Davao accident last June 2, 2013.
