The crowning glory of the Philippines’ beaches, the Boracay White Beaches was named anew as the No. 1 in the recently released TripAdvisor’s Traveller’s Choice Top 25 Beaches in Asia in the year 2013.
The recognition of Boracay island is another achievement for the Philippines campaign to convince more tourist to the Philippines, topping the Asian list is not an easy achievement because Asian beaches are world renowned.
Aside from Boracay, Palawan’s Secret Lagoon Beach and Yapak Beach in Boracya, also made it to the list of the Top 25 Beaches in Asia. Boracay’s White Beach was also ranked as the 24th spot in worldwide rankings.

Boracay Island is also voted 5th of the Top 10 Islands in Asia, while Palawan ranked 8th. Although the Philippines have a huge popularity in beaches, the country was not included in the list of world’s best destinations, currently dominated by European countries.
