There are two Filipinos who will be competing in one of the most prestigious television reality search, “The Apprentice Asia,” the regional adaptation of the popular US reality series.
The 27-year-old, Jonathan Allen Yabut and Celine Le Neindre, they will compete against selected contestants from the Asian region. Jonathan Allen Yabut is a senior product manager of a pharmaceutical company.
He gradated from the University of the Philippines and admitted that he has been a fan of “The Apprentice” ever since he was in college. He has never thought that one day he will part of the prestigious show.
Allen Yabut is the youngest contestant of the first season of “The Apprentice Asia,” he stated that he did not feel the pressure of competing with older and more experienced players.
Some of the competitors in the top-rating show of AXN includes business owners, financial coach, an auditor and a lawyer among others. He will also compete with fellow Filipino, Celina Le Neindre.
The contestants in “The Apprentice Asia” will compete against each other to get the approval of AirAsia’s group Chief Executive Officer, Tony Fernandes, the equivalent of American real estate mogul Donald Trump.
“The Apprentice Asia” will premier this coming May 22, 2013 on AXN and airs Wednesday at 9:05 PM.
