Senator Loren Legarda is considered as one of the most productive Senator of the Philippines, she is a broadcast journalist, politician, TV host, environmentalist and philanthropist. She is one of the most popular candidate of the administration party, Team PNoy.

The 53-year-old Loren Legarda is notable as the only female to top two senatorial elections (1998 and 2007). Legarda got a total of 15 million votes in 1998 and 18.4 million votes in 2007.
