The Commission on Elections announced that the Public School Teachers who will be performing their duties in various Election precinct nationwide will be reduced to P4,000 from the previous P4,300.
The COMELEC stated that the (–foul word(s) removed–)igned teachers to work during the May 2013 Elections will be receiving P3,000 for honorarium, P500 for transpotation allowance and P500 for checking the PCOS machines.
Meanwhile according to Alliance of Concerned Teachers (ACT) – Teachers’s Partylist Representative Antonio Tinio in an exclusive interview with DzBB, the allowance given to the teachers were P300 lower because the sealing of what we called Booth of Voters will not be included.
