The 16-year-old Chaeremon Basa from Bacolod City easily made it to the semi-finalists as he garnered the highest number of votes, 28.09% after he performed a flairtending act on Saturday, April 7.
Chaeremon was named as the first semi-finalist who will moved on to the next round of competition. The young contestant from Bacolod was then joined by Miss Tress, the three flamboyant gay man who sung with big manly voices from Quezon City.
The Miss Tres battle it out against the Security and Escort Batallion Combo of the Philippine Army and got the judges vote after their performance. The Miss Tres performed the song “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” while the Army sang “The Cup of Life” by Ricky Martin.
The other three acts namely, All In One Crew, Segutier Triplets and Marvin Arguero failed to impress the PGT audiences as they received a lower number of text votes.
