The current world flyweight champion Brian “The Hawaiian Punch” Viloria will be defending his WBO and WBA championship belt against Mexican challenger this coming April 6, 2013.
The fight card will be held at the Venetian Resort Hotel in Macau, the first major professional boxing event hosted by the former Portuguese territory currently under the China.
The site of their fight, the Cotai Arena, could accommodate up to 15,000 spectators. The world title boxing match was made possible through Top Ranks’ Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum.
The Filipino-American Viloria, wanted to continue his winning streak after his last fight against Hernan “Tyson” Marquez last November.
