Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao wanted to bring his next fight to the Philippines as part of his ring return this coming April. According to a news report from ABS-CBN, Manny have already sent his adviser Michael Koncz to Singapore to check for possible venue.
Manny stated further that if there’s no available venue in Singapore, then they might hold the fight at the Rizal Memorial Stadium, the home court of the Philippines Azkals in Manila.
Meanwhile boxing promoter, Bob Arum, earlier said that it is unlikely for them to stage a fight in April because of the unavailability of ideal locations for Pacquiao’s bout. Arum is also looking for Macau as a possible venue for Pacquaiao’s return to the ring.
Manny is currently busy also with his preparations as he runs for re-election as congressman of Sarangani Province.
