The winner of this year’s edition of the Miss USA came from Rhode Island, United States of America. The 20-year-old contestant was declared as winner of the pageant held at the Theatre for the Performing Arts at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on June 3, 2012.
Miss Olivia Culpo was the first contestant from the Rhode Island who was declared as the winner. She bested out some of the heavy favorite candidate especially from the state of Nevada, Oklahoma, Maryland and Georgia.
