Last Sunday, PBS has announced to the public that there will be a release of the newest version of TV series Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. The new adaptation will be entitled Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood.
The kid series became famous in the past as many viewers in all ages where able to entertained by its story and its enjoyable plot.
Its 21st version will still integrate the past Mister Rogers characters but this time they will be adult and have their own family with young children.
The primary target viewers of the Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood are not all ages but those children who are in preschoolers. They have made it more fun and enjoyable to watch.
Kevin Morrison, chief operating officer of the Fred Rogers Company has explained that they have chosen the preschoolers to be their target viewers as the story line of the series will surely give curiosity to kids about the things around them and the world itself.
He also added that unlike before that there were only few TV channels and Children programs thus these factors serve as the strength of Mister Rogers Neighborhood series. However, taking such factor to consideration will greatly affect the success of the kids TV series.
Producers said that the primary strength of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood would more likely focus on letting the young ones or viewers understand the feelings of every people towards others and the emotions involve in every situation.
It is expected that the new version of Mister Rogers will be out in the year 2012.
