Nitaqat program will cl(–foul word(s) removed–)ify the companies in Saudi Arabia, a part of Saudization program which will provide enough jobs to its local residents. Companies will be cl(–foul word(s) removed–)ified according to the implementation of Saudization in each companies.
Those companies who were implementing Saudization or employing Saudi nationals will not be affected with the nitaqat program that had been implemented since June 11, 2011. Overseas Filipino Workers and expats from other countries will be affected with the particular program especially those who are working in establishments.
The program will categorize companies according to a color scheme. They were cl(–foul word(s) removed–)ified as Green or excellent, Yellow and Red. Those who are implementing the Saudization will be cl(–foul word(s) removed–)ified as Green or excellent.
Companies who were partially implementing a Saudization program or employing Saudis but not enough for the required percentage of Saudi workers will be cl(–foul word(s) removed–)ified into Yellow. Those who are not employing Saudis in their companies will be cl(–foul word(s) removed–)ified at Red.
Red Category companies were usually small establishments wherein there were numbers of OFW’s working for those companies in Saudi Arabia. The companies and establishments falls upon this category will be given a six years of full Saudization program implementation before they can continue to hire more expats.
Overseas Filipino Workers in Saudi Arabia will be affected with the implementation for most workers have worked on companies which were categorically falls upon the Red Category. When the full implementation of the program will take effect it could caused a vacuum in terms of blue-collar workers in the Kingdom.
According to Labor Minister Adel Fakieh of Saudi Arabia, an estimated 40% of the private firms will be wipe out upon the full implementation of the program which aims to eradicated the higher unemployment problems of Saudi citizens.
