Russian Airline Plane Crashed Killed 44 People On-Board, 8 Survived

One of the Russian Airline plane crashed in a highway killing 44 people. The RusAir Tu-134 was caught up on flames after the pilot tried to land it but failed to do so. The plane was carrying a total of 52 p(–foul word(s) removed–)engers including the crew members.

 

The accident happened on Tuesday, June 11, 2011 near Petrozavodsk airport. The RusAir Tu-134 plane was caught up on flames when the pilot manually tried to land the plane inspite of the bad weather. Authorities could not be reached for comments regarding the caused of the accidents.

There were notable personalities who had been killed during the crash. Out of the 44 people pronounced dead and 8 survivors had been rescued. Those who had been killed were Russia’s nuclear research designers, Sergei Ryzhov, deputy director and chief designer Gennady Banyuk, and head designer branch Nikolai Trunov.

According to Moscow’s federal air transportl at Domodedovo airport the place where the plane came from. Agency chief Alexander Neradko was quoted as saying “There is no sign of a fire or explosion on board the plane before the impact.”

Investigations were still on going so that the the report will be finalized and conclusion can be made regarding the accident. The plane was intact before hitting a 15-meter pine tree that caused it to burst in flames. The accident was a fatal blow to the Russian Air.

Russian leaders President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin expressed their condolences to the families of the victims and authorities announced a three days mourning for the victims.

The plane which was made during the year 1981 had a poor safety records for the past few months some of it’s plane with the same model experienced flight problems. With the latest air disasters Russian authorities were taking extra steps to investigate deeply the caused of the accident.
