Elaine Davidson recognized by Guinness as the “world’s most pierced woman” from Brazil had just exchanged her marriage vows on Wednesday with civil servant who had retired without even having one piercing or a tattoo displayed on his body.

The 46-year-old woman who owns at least 7,000 piercings counted to cover her body married the seemingly conservative Douglas Watson in Scotland.

Watson is 60 years old. The groom shares that he closely knows his bride, Davidson. He testifies about the good character hidden behind her thousand piercings after knowing Davidson for about 15 years.

Though her face was covered with thousands of yellow, green and blue-colored piercings, everyone still sees her as a typical white-dressed bride with a flowery tiara placed on her head.

On the other hand, Watson simply marched on his sky-blue formal shirt with tie paired inside a navy suit. They also have their own pink-dressed bridesmaids at that special moment.

Having only 462 piercings in year 2000, Davidson was able to hold the title being the world’s most pierced woman from the Guinness World Record. Her face alone was covered with 192 piercings that time.

All the piercing she wears on around her body could weigh at least 3 kilograms all in all. But despite that heavy, she can still manage to say that she can sleep well at night in their home in Edinburgh.

The couple happily tied the knot in a ceremony which lasted for 35 minutes.
