Death of Jeff Conaway mourned his Family, Friends and Fans

Jeff Conaway died after he had been pulled from the life-support that basically sustained the actor in struggling with pneumonia and sepsis. The 60-year-old actor in the famous sitcom “Taxi” and in the movie musical “Grease” had reportedly slipped into a coma and p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed away at around 10:30AM on Friday.

His friends, family and fans mourn over his death but still keep the hope that the actor will be in a “in a better place”.

As a support, his first wife named Rona Newton John had been in the hospital for the last several weeks. However, RadarOnline.com says that “she was not with him” the moment he took his last breath.

“We loved him as a person, respected him as an artist and he will be always remembered,” his manager Phil Brock posted on Twitter.

Since May 11, Jeff Conaway was admitted in the hospital. Reports say that the actor had a medically induced coma and was found unconscious.

According to the news site, Vikki Lizzi known to be his girlfriend was the one who found him unconscious. He had collapsed from a drug overdose while he was in his apartment in California.

It was the decision of his family to take off the life support.

Conaway was known to deal a life marked by conflict as he had been into broken relationships. There was a time that he struggled for unstable work. He was able to confess that he “battled the demons of drug addiction” involving the abuse of alcohol, cocaine and painkillers.

The actor appeared to be VH1 reality series “Celebrity Rehab” in early 2008.
