Sol Lineas Aereas Plane Crashed in Southern Argentina leaving No Survivors

No one survived when commercial plane exploded in southern Argentina late on Wednesday. Carrying 22 people, officials declared that Flight 5248 of Sol Lineas Aereas crashed in an isolated region of Patagonia killing all aboard.

Three crew members along with the 19 p(–foul word(s) removed–)engers died including an infant. Reports said that the pilot of Sol Lineas Aereas plane made an emergency communication when it soared from Neuquen nearby Andes towards the city Comodoro Rivadavia along Patagonia coast.

A confirmation was given by the company saying that it was nearly 25 kilometers southwest of Los Menucos town that the wreckage had been found. Even the local fire-fighters and police officials testified that no one was seen alive.

A fireball seemingly crashed in an area close to the home of a witness describing that the plane possibly went from an explosion in the mid-air.

According to the company’s statement, Sol had taken off at around 23:08 GMT. Spokesman of Sol Lineas Aereas named Horacio Darre stated that the twin-engine Saab 340 had a normal take off. After a span of 45 minutes, the plane crashed in a moment after an emergency communication was made.

Further investigations are still conducted by authorities so as to determine the cause behind the plane crash.

Mayor Mabel Yahuar of Los Menucos town stated that the aircraft’s recovery was difficult since it crashed in an isolated area along the foothills of the Andes. However, Yahuar (–foul word(s) removed–)ures that the gymnasium of the said town will be made available in order to support the investigators as well as the family members of the victims.

Some flights from the Falklands have been suspended by the company on Thursday. The planes were rerouted to mainland Argentina to be able to carry the family members of the victims. Several ambulances have been prepared along with the local fire-fighters to respond on the scenario.
