The series of Ruru Madrid received this recognition
Kapuso actor Ruru Madrid shared his thoughts on the recognition that his series Black Rider received from the New York Festival.
Ruru is the lead actor in the said Kapuso primetime action-drama series. The actor has been receiving big blessings for his acting career. After his primetime series Lolong, he was given another teleserye project.
Based on the article in Bandera, aside from the good ratings that Black Rider has been receiving, it also received an award just recently.
Ruru Madrid’s series won the Bronze Medal in the Entertainment Program under the Drama category at the New York Festivals TV & Film (NYF) Awards.
Through his social media post, the Kapuso actor thanked the award-giving body and the fans who have been supporting the series since day one. “This recognition is dedicated to all the unsung heroes and Filipinos facing life’s challenges. We share this New York Festival medal with you. Many thanks to the judges, Kapuso, and the entire nation for believing that we can all be heroes like Black Rider,” he wrote in the caption of his post.
In the comment section, many celebrities congratulated the Kapuso actor and those behind the series for this achievement.
Meanwhile, Black Rider continues to introduce new characters. Just recently, sultry actress Angeli Khang was added to the cast. On her first shooting day, she already had a kissing scene with Ruru Madrid.
When the Kapuso actor was asked if he had the permission of his girlfriend actress Bianca Umali before doing the intimate scene, he explained that he told her about this after the shoot because there was no signal at their location. Ruru shared that Bianca appreciated his honesty as they have a rule to be truthful to each other and that they would tell the other about this matter.
