The TCL 306 was officially announced on March 2, 2022, and released on March 8, 2022. The smartphone is kept on by a 5000 mAh Li-Po built-in battery + fast battery charging 10W (wired). It is available in two colors: Space Gray and Atlantic Blue.
Body & Display:
The dimension of the phone is 165.2 x 75.5 x 8.9 mm and weighs 190 grams. It is built with a glass front, a plastic back, and a plastic frame. It comes with a screen size of 6.52 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
Platform:
The smartphone is powered by Mediatek Helio G25 (12 nm) Octa-core processor coupled with PowerVR GE8320 graphics processing unit (GPU). It runs on the Android 12 with TCL UI operating system. It is packed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It also supports expandable microSD storage up to 512GB.
Main Camera:
The rear side of the TCL 306 sports a triple-camera that consists of 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (depth). It features autofocus, digital zoom, HDR, touch focus, and LED flash.
Selfie Camera:
On the front, the smartphone features a 5-megapixel camera for clicking beautiful selfies and making video calls. It features FaceID, HDR, and f/2.0 aperture.
The device’s sensors include fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, and proximity. It also features USB Type-C Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, hotspot, and GPS with A-GPS.
