Bunny Paras tried to ask for help but Mo Twister had this reaction
Former actress Bunny Paras revealed the reaction of her former partner DJ Mo Twister when she asked for help for the medical expenses of their daughter Moira.
Bunny was one of the popular actresses during the 90s. Her career took a dip after she gave birth to her daughter with DJ Mo. She admitted in a recent interview on Ogie Diaz’s vlog that after giving birth, the roles offered to her became limited.
That was the time she decided to go to the U.S. and try her luck in the said country. Her daughter has a rare condition that was because of the fact that she and DJ MO are carriers of a certain gene.
“Hindi parating nangyayari ‘yun pero puwedeng mangyari at nagkataong si Moira ‘yung nagkasakit which means kulang siya ng certain protein which is frataxin and nalu-loose ‘yung ability niya to walk and mga nerves niya nagwi-weaken, mga muscles niya nagwi-weaken until she ended up in a walker tapos pag nagda-dance o sumayaw parang lasing,” Bunny Paras shared.
With this condition that Moira has, the former actress said that she was the only one who provided for the medical expenses of their daughter. Thankfully, when Bunny’s husband came into her life, she got the support that she needed.
When Ogie asked Bunny if Mo Twister has reached out to their daughter, the former actress said, “Wala akong nakitang effort, Ogs. Mabibilang ko lang.”
Bunny said that at first, everything between Mo and Moira was fine because the DJ’s family treated their daughter well. “So, akala ko everything’s gonna be okay kahit masama ‘yung loob ko sa kanya kasi from three years old to 16 wala ka talagang nakitang help,” the former actress revealed.
Bunny also said that many times, she approached Mo regarding their daughter’s medical expenses but there was no response from him. “I did so many times. Ano ako, ghosting, dedma. Hindi ako pinansin. ‘Yung mommy niya, mag-aabot ng 100 or 200 dollars kapag may okasyon. Saka nu’ng newborn si Moira may mga gatas, diaper. Pero hindi siya (regular nag-aabot). Sobrang libo ang expenses namin pagdating kay Moira,” she shared.
The former actress also said that if Mo Twister can’t provide for the financial needs of their daughter, at least he could have made his presence felt by Moira, but there was none.
